How It All Began

Tracy Eva Beck is a Christian music artist, from Port Orange, FL.  She is a multi-instrumentalist, contemporary classical composer, and singer-songwriter. Tracy was born in Akron, Ohio, where her musical journey first began, at around age 5.  While visiting a garage sale with her mom, she found a toy organ and began playing a song by ear.  Her mom was astonished, and thinking she had the next Beethoven, quickly invested in a new upright piano, and lessons.  However, after less than a year in piano lessons, family financial strain led to giving up any more lessons.  Learning music still continued though, through learning to play the flute while at school.  Over the years, she was gifted several other musical instruments by family and friends.  An alto saxophone, a guitar, then a trumpet.  She taught herself to play a little on each instrument.  At age 15, she finally had the opportunity to take piano lessons again.  This time, a full year of classical piano training.  Also during this time, she began attending Trinity Christian Academy, in Deltona, Florida.  There, she played the keyboard for chapel services, as a member of the praise and worship band. She also continued to play her flute there as well.  After high school though, she played music less and less, as the demands of young adulthood took over.  In her youth, most had assumed that she would pursue music as a career, but she did not.  She became a mom in 1995, and needed a dependable income to support her son.  So she pursued another interest...  ..medicine.  She became a respiratory therapist, and worked in that field for quite some time, before finally moving on to pursue a degree in internet services technology.  In 2006, she got her first dirt bike, and soon after, began riding motocross. She loved it!  It was a late start for entry into the sport, but she picked it up quickly, and soon began racing.  ...and winning.  While at the track, she met her husband, also a motocross racer.  She and her husband currently travel the country together in their motorhome, racing motocross.  Mr. Beck is owner of Beck's Tech, Inc., a motorcycle suspension and racing-mods shop, in Port Orange, Florida.  He offers track side motorcycle suspension services as part of his business, while they travel.  After returning from one of their trips, Tracy says that she stopped by to visit her mom, and sat down to play a bit on her childhood piano.  She realized then that she was beginning to forget pieces of music she'd always known, and was heartbroken.  It had been too many years without music.  So she bought a small keyboard to begin practicing again, even while traveling.  She found many music resources on the web.  Resources that were so frequently out of reach for her in her youth.  While on a trip to a race in Missouri, her husband bought her a 88 key digital stage piano, for her birthday.  Soon, she began composing again.  A little more internet research, and gathering some equipment, and she was able to begin recording.  Next, came a You Tube Channel, and the idea to use the internet to share her music, her faith, and her motocross adventures with the world.  Her videos and posts on social media typically include #oneFastGramma and #motocrossGramma, as Tracy is now a Grandma of four!  She has even begun introducing the piano to her grandchildren, hoping to teach each of them to play at a young age.  When asked about her plans for the future, she states, "I want to keep making music for the Lord.  I plan to keep racing and traveling, and to use my travels as an opportunity to share my music, and my Jesus, with everyone I can.  I want to inspire a love for Jesus, and a love for music too, in my grandbabies.  I believe the Lord will continue to open the right doors for me.  Whatever the Lord wants me to do, that's what I want to do.  And, I guess there's a part of me kind of hoping that maybe it's not too late for "oneFastGramma" to start a music career after all."

Beginning in February 2026, music by Tracy Eva Beck will begin being distributed worldwide by CD Baby.
